OutboundEngine has just been listed as a 2014 Best Places to Work in Austin! This is the second year in a row that we’ve received this award and the first time in the medium business category (51-250 employees). We’re incredibly excited about this award and thrilled to call Austin, Texas our home!
This year, the Austin Business Journal said that had a record breaking 276 nominations for Best Places to Work in Austin. Considering that there are only 20 companies named to the medium category, it’s quite humbling to be named among the other recipients. We’re excited for the other companies that have made the list and look forward to hearing the rankings. The final rankings for each category will be announced on Thursday, June 26th.
Every year, the Austin Business Journal opens nominations for businesses in Central Texas to apply to be one of the best places to work. The nominees fall into four different categories:
- Micro Category (10 – 20 employees)
- Small Category (21 – 50 employees)
- Medium Category (51 – 250 employees)
- Large Category (251+ employees)
The companies that apply are then asked to send out a survey to their employees asking them to rate their employers on things like climate, team atmosphere, benefits, and their engagement level.
